Embark on a comprehensive three-day exploration of Ghana's most significant heritage and natural sites. On day one, your English-speaking guide and professional driver collect you from your hotel in Accra for a private transfer to Cape Coast. Tour the UNESCO World Heritage Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle, walking through the dungeons and learning about the transatlantic slave trade. Explore the vibrant Elmina fishing harbour before checking into your overnight accommodation in Cape Coast. On day two, drive inland to Kakum National Park for the famous canopy walk through the rainforest. Cross rope bridges 30 metres above the forest floor and experience the tropical canopy with an expert naturalist guide. After Kakum, continue to the Assin Manso Slave River, the last bath site where enslaved Africans were washed before being marched to the castles. Stand at the river and reflect on this powerful piece of history before returning to Cape Coast for the evening. On day three, enjoy a relaxed morning in Cape Coast with time to explore the town, visit the market, or take a final walk along the coast before the comfortable drive back to Accra. All entry fees, accommodation, and breakfast are included across all three days.
A carefully planned day — every stop, guide, and entry ticket handled for you.
